If I failed to include your special dates, please post in Comments…Thanks!
Our McMurtrie grandsons, Aidan, Connor and Gabriel are vacationing with us over the summer. It is a delight to have them; Aidan and Connor a bit more reserved now; pretty soon, they’ll be young teenagers, and alas, we cannot baby them anymore. Elouise will come to pick them up on Friday, and they will proceed to Atlanta to visit with the Masts for a few days.
Beau and Coco are also here for a few days. The boys just love the bonding they are having, and so do we. They leave for Arizona in a couple of days.
Spoke to Elice and Chakib yesterday (Chakib’s birthday). Leecie and Ibrahim are a little under the weather, but they’re getting better, Leecie says…
Bennie has a gig at the Met Opera in October (and he starts rehearsals in August for the production, “Dr. Atomic”—has something to do with the ‘Manhattan Project’). Catch it when you can!
Ely and I will be traveling to the Philippines on August 2, mainly, to attend Ely’s nephew, Dominic’s marriage to Cathy on August 8th. After that, we’ll take a trip to Palawan, stay at Dos Palmas for 3 nights, and maybe tour farther south. I haven’t been farther south of the Philippines yet; it would be very interesting. There are troves of PI points of interest that I have yet to enjoy and experience. And hopefully, on the next Ely Oyzon Clan trip back to PI, with the grandboys, we can be more discerning in where to go, what to see…
“See” you next blog… TAKE CARE, y’all!

Our brother, Aurelio (Butch) Rosal Jr’s 50th
It was a great 2-day reunion at Bears Paw Lane at Hanover (Butch and Toni’s home), and a fun-filled night at La Fontaine Bleu at Glen Burnie, MD, this weekend, for my little brother, Butch’s fiftieth birthday! All of us, his nine sisters (& hubbies), Vir (& Galen), Bella, myself (& Ely), Sonia (& Ariel), Bambi (& Romy), Morna (& Noly), Vicki, Tessie (& Bobby), Chet; along with nephews and nieces, with grandnephews and grandnieces came far and wide—from London, Canada, California, Georgia, New York, New Jersey and Virginia. Butch and Toni’s immediate and extended families, of course, were there, too. It was a special and sweet gathering!
Butch, Toni, Leo, Renzo and Kai, you were great hosts! Thank you!
Until the next reunion!
