Welcome, Baby IBRAHIM!
We are proud grandparents, again!
Baby Ibrahim, our seventh grandSON, arrived via C-section at 11:30 a.m., Morocco time (6:30 a.m. VA time), 26 June 2007. Wt: 2.5 kilos (5+ lbs.)
Elice and baby, and Chakib are doing fine; and very happy.
I will give you more details, and pictures, when we get to Morocco!

Current Tidbits and Events until I get back in August
Lolo Ely and Lola Lomy had fun baby-sitting Eli, Ethan and Evan for a week. Towards the end, it was getting hectic, but it was all worth it—a job that only doting grandparents can fully enjoy! Curt and Elaine arrived on Saturday to pick them up; and left early Sunday with the boys. It is so quiet and lonely without the antics of Evan and the constant squabbles of Eli and Ethan. We miss them!!!
We are hosting Ely’s next UPHS ’52 on June 30th. Houseguests will start arriving on June 28th and the rest will be billeted in a hotel in Stafford. It was so much fun the last time (June ‘04); I am proud that there is a great response to have it again here, this year. It will be almost a year since our son-in-law, Curt, launched the official Grand Opening for his Tae kwon Do school on June 24, 2006. Now it flourishes with about 60 students, to date. Ely and I will be out of the country and into Morocco for a month to visit with Chakib and Elice, and to welcome baby Ibrahim on July 15th. (Please send prayers and good wishes her way, for a safe delivery and a healthy baby).
