I am sixty-six today!
My dear Children,
It’s extra-ordinary that at this point and time of my life I can still affirm that we hold a solid foundation in our family. I thank God and pray for His continuous blessings and the peace of mind that I am granted each day because of this.
I was recently going through your blogs and each accompanying comments, and I am continually impressed by your wit, creativeness, smartness, and accomplishments. I am amazed [and very proud!] by your seemingly innate kindness, thoughtfulness and unselfishness. I would like to think that your dad and I [must] have raised you right.
Our ordinary family dynamics can attest to that extra-ordinariness. Here are some snippets that warm me:

We may not be well off; at times we eke out our way to support ourselves, but I believe it keeps us humble, and more appreciative of good things that come our way. This is not to say that we should strive less—success comes with great responsibility, only then, can we, ultimately, enjoy peace of mind in every way—I believe that.
Lastly, on this, my sixty-sixth birthday, I am, again, resurrecting my old sentiment HB to me. It is still valid.
