Easter at the Oyzons’

This year’s Rosal Clan Easter gathering will be in Stafford, Virginia, at the Oyzons???. Seeing that everyone will be coming from afar, we will let someone else host the annual Iron Chef tournament (which, last year was held in conjunction with the Easter Fest).

For the Annual Egg Decorating Contest, we are sticking to last year???s new rules that was enforced in the egg decorating contest. Prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be a surprise. Competitiveness will be an all-time high, again, this year. Originality, Thematics and Sense of Humor will play a great part in judging the works of art. We welcome suggestions.  We hope to really have a great, fun time.

Please check last year’s Easter:

Happy New Year!

I???ve been reading previous posts, particularly New Year 2004???s and I am re-posting it for this year 2005 because I still have the same sentiment as strongly as I had:

Christmas and New Year Holidays had come and gone, and I am now slowly putting away decorations (the tree comes next), with a feeling of regret that the holiday season went too fast. Thank you, all, for the Christmas greetings, the numerous gifts, material and spiritual, that were presented with love and care. We truly appreciate your friendship! I welcome the New Year with great hope. I count the numerous blessings my family and our extended families are endowed. God had been good to us and I hope that He continues to bless us as we go through the New Year and beyond. May we all contribute our goodness and patience to our fellow humans, and promote Peace in this ever-changing world.
